Making new friends
Okay, so this one is a warning…if yuh “social” then Trinidad Carnival is not for you! And we don’t mean “social” in the social media sense. When someone from Trinidad calls you “social”, it actually means “anti-social” in the true sense! It means that you’re not into mingling/liming and are stand offish. This is against the grain of Trinidad Carnival since it’s the friendliest festivals in our humble opinion! You’re constantly making new friends and acquaintances.
