A B C’s of Carnival
Hey, thanks for visiting our blog! It's your girl, Esha, here and I came across a blog the other day that talked about the 5 C's of your wardrobe. It got me to thinking, "What are the 5 C's of Carnival?"
Then that evolved into the A, B, C's of Carnival - and here we are. Enjoy!

A is fuh Autonomy aka Freedom
The one thing that we hear from our Carnivalistas whether
they go with us to Trinidad Carnival or Barbados Carnival is the freedom that
they experience. Imagine the freedom you
feel when you’re on a regular vacay times 10!
Couple that with laughing, jumping, singing and dancing at Carnival
events, the open road of the parade, J’ouvert and having some me time on the
beach, and you have the perfect opportunity to be autonomous - you're free!

| B is for Beauty |
Ahhh...beautiful people and eye candy everywhere (including
yourself!). Everyone wears their “bess
outfits” to the many parties and it all comes to a head during the parade! Once your Carnivalista mode is on – Carnival makeup,
costume on, comfortable (but stylish) footwear and drink in hand – you are one
of a thing of beauty. Check out all the
other beautiful people around you while having the time of your life!
C is fuh Camaraderie
It’s all about yuh frien’ and dem. The best part about Carnival is the friends –
new and old – that you’ll meet. From
meeting up with your girls to perhaps rooming with someone new, there’s nothing
like creating camaraderie during Carnival.
We’ve witnessed it by matching up dozens of strangers to room together
over the years. They’ve all become party
buddies and long-term friends!
Then I thought, why stop at A B C? Here are the D's and E's of Carnival...

| D is fuh duttiness |
My fave part of Carnival – no matter where it is – is J’ouvert! I think this one festival of dancing in the
streets with paint, mud or powder all over your body combines A-E of Carnival
into 1 event. Our Carnivalistas all
agree – our J’ouvert event is always top rated out of all of the events our
clients attend every year :)
E is fuh Energy
I think this one if self-explanatory but I’ll illustrate it
anyway. Once you touch down in your
chosen Carnival country, there’s a rush of energy and excitement that hits you! Everyone is in a good mood and it’s
infectious. Soca music is playing everywhere;
it’s the soundtrack of any Carnival. The
thumping bass infects your soul and you can’t help but move your body. Your
energy wakes up and hits a fever pitch at your first party of the season! The fever pitch continues with every event
and climaxes during the Carnival parade.
You really can’t help but get swept up in the intensity, color and vibrancy of Carnival!
